This project is all about how people use technology in creative ways. I don’t mind if you call yourself an artist, filmmaker, games developer, hacker or don’t give yourself any label at all. I don’t mind if your technology of choice is the internet, hardware, software, a platform or some other thing that you haven’t got a name for yet. I just want to hear from you if you consider what you do with technology to be creative.

I’d like to know:

  • What technologies do you use?
  • How do you use them creatively?
  • Where are you based?

I’ve made a bunch of postcards to help you share these stories. Just write down – or sketch out – your thoughts, snap a photo of them, and send them to me by Facebook, Twitter or email.

Don’t have a postcard? That’s OK, you can also just share your stories with me directly via Facebook, Twitter or email. You can be as creative as you like. Write a story, draw a picture, make a film, create a game… I don’t mind how you share, just share!

I will use these in my research and make (at least some of) them available publicly too. If you send them to me and don’t want them to be public, just make sure you say so. Unless otherwise instructed I will consider all contributions Creative Commons licensed [BY-SA] which means you will be attributed, and the work can be used in any way, including derivatives and commercially*.

* Please note this doesn’t mean I’m evil and want to own your work, it means I that at some point I will make an interactive documentary, ebook, film… or something out of all the material I’m gathering, and some of that might make it on to screens like Cinemas and TV. If your work is licensed NC (non commercial) I can’t use it for those purposes. That’s cool, I just need to know!)
